Job Description
This role is based full-time at our Shirebrook HQ.
In the Frasers Group Finance Team, no two days are the same. We operate flexibly, welcoming process improvements. Each team member can leave their mark, with senior management always available to support.
Acquisitions Accounting
* Manage accounting of the Group’s acquisitions under IFRS 3, including disclosures in financial statements.
* Coordinate with administrators and advisors to ensure transaction understanding and documentation.
* Present acquisition impacts to senior management to aid budgeting and forecasting.
* Oversee the audit process for acquisitions, providing documentation and responding to queries.
Group Financial Statements (IFRS):
* Review monthly consolidation of Frasers Group PLC, analyzing variances.
* Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits.
* Assist with complex accounting issues like share schemes, derivatives, and foreign subsidiaries.
Property Accounting
* Manage accounting for property valuations and impairments.
* Work with internal and external advisors on property valuations and ensure proper accounting.
* Review forecasts and variances with the property team.
* Lead the audit process for property accounting, ensuring documentation and query resolution.
Qualifications
* Good knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS.
* Highly motivated, able to meet deadlines.
* Resilient, adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment.
