About the Onsite Trainer role
This is a brand-new role, put in place to deliver training to our on-site contracts across the UK.
The aim is to demonstrate commitment to excellence and having a structured training programme in place elevates us as a partner of choice for our customers.
The Onsite Trainer will deliver training both face to face and virtually and will draw on existing product and systems knowledge.
A training cycle will typically last 6 months and incorporate a range of topic areas to include; site induction, systems training and product training over three cycles incorporating (but not limited to); bearings, transmissions, fluid power, seals, drives, pumps, lubricants, fasteners, PPE and tools.
Other training areas will consist of customer service training, stakeholder engagement, stock & inventory management, continuous improvement, the procurement process, MRO and KPI tracking.
You’ll be drawing in expertise from around the business to help deliver some of these topic areas.

About You
First and foremost, you’ll have a passion for delivering training excellence. You’ll ideally have a good level of engineering consumables product and ERP related systems knowledge although not essential.
You’ll have good presence, high energy and be highly adaptable; engaging your audience is key and adapting your style is big strength for any training role!
Your passion and positivity will shine through and motivate other when you are delivering training, having the ability to articulate the benefits to the end customer.
The best thing about the role is that we have never had this position before, so this is your opportunity to make it your own and drive your own learning journey. There will be support to help you along the way however, we are looking for confident communicators with high emotional intelligence and a passion for learning.
Finally, you will be technology savvy and will have no problem working with the Microsoft Office suits of products. You’ll also be comfortable trouble shooting technology during sessions.
What we're looking for in our Onsite Trainer
Core Skills
Systems experience desirable i.e. Sxe, Vipo, Smart Time
Good level of product knowledge desirable – can be taught.
Content creation and session design – support can be provided.
Facilitation skills – able to guide and steer discussions.
Excellent communication skills – a confident communicator who can build rapport with delegates.
Technology Proficiency
Comfortable using our internal systems for example, SXE, VIPO, Smart Time etc. This can be taught.
Proficient in all MS packages.
Can troubleshoot basic tech issues during sessions.
Working hours & Arrangements; 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
This role requires national travel with overnight stays. When not travelling the role will be based at Halesowen HQ.
