Salary: £41,511 - £44,711 per annum
The Role
Now the school wants to transform the way they communicate because they want everyone to know what sets them apart. That's where you come in. You will shape and deliver a new communications strategy and ensure the delivery of high-quality content across all media platforms. From updating their websites to identifying PR opportunities, managing relationships with partners, generating inspiring copy, engaging newspaper editors, to overseeing social media, you will take a hands-on approach to all your tasks.
They need someone who can think, lead, and do simultaneously. Ideally, you will come from a media or journalism background, with a high level of commercial acumen, excellent copywriting skills, a flair for storytelling, and a passion for education and its possibilities.
While based centrally with regular visits to their four academies, they are flexible with hybrid working arrangements. Skills And Qualifications
* 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent
* Degree in a relevant subject (Desirable)
* Knowledge of social media platforms
* Understanding of website maintenance
* Experience in a media/communications environment (Desirable)
