Location: Southend-on-Sea Salary Scale: £85-£120 Contract Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities:
As a Cover Supervisor you will supervise students in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Deliver pre-prepared lessons and materials provided by the subject teachers.
As a Cover Supervisor you will manage classroom behaviour and address any issues promptly.
Support students in their learning and answer questions related to the assigned work.
As a Cover Supervisor you will collaborate with teaching staff to maintain continuity in students' learning experiences.
Requirements:
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Confidence in managing a classroom and ensuring a positive learning atmosphere.
Flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects and year groups.
A degree in education or a relevant subject is desirable but not essential.
Experience as a cover supervisor or within education desirable, must be confident to deliver lessons and manage a classroom effectively.
