About Us: Wells Offshore is a dynamic global supplier of Pharmaceutical and Medical Supplies to the Onshore and Offshore Oil, Gas and Merchant Shipping Industry for over 25 years. Job Purpose: To receive, inspect, and manage incoming stock deliveries, ensuring accuracy of inventory and maintaining an organised warehouse. Responsible for accurate recording of stock movement and assisting in maintaining optimal stock levels through effective stock control processes. Key Responsibilities: Goods In Duties: Receive and unload deliveries in a timely and safe manner. Check all incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase orders for accuracy. Report and document any discrepancies, damages, or shortages. Label and allocate goods to correct storage locations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the goods-in area. Stock Control Duties: Accurately input and update stock records in warehouse management systems (WMS). Carry out regular stock checks, cycle counts, and stocktakes. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies. Monitor stock levels and alert management to low stock or overstock situations. Maintain tidy and organised stock locations with a clear system in place. Coordinate with warehouse team to implement and ensure a control system to reduce inventory obsolescence. General Duties: Assist with other warehouse duties as required. Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures. Support continuous improvement and lean warehouse initiatives. Communicate effectively with procurement, operations, and other departments. Skills and Qualifications: Essential: Previous experience in a warehouse or stock control role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer literacy, including use of warehouse or inventory systems. Good numeracy and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable: Experience using WMS or ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, SAP, Oracle). Knowledge of stock control principles and inventory management. Performance Indicators: Accuracy of stock records Speed and accuracy of goods receipt Reduction in stock discrepancies Timeliness of reporting issues Department: Warehouse & Logistics Reports to: Warehouse Team Leader
