An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Machinist to step into a rewarding training-focused role. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with CNC milling and lathe experience who is passionate about developing others and helping to shape the next generation of engineers. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality technical training to apprentices within a modern training school environment. The Role Reporting to the Apprentice Team Leader, you will: Deliver high-quality training in CNC and manual machining, including milling, turning, and surface grinding Teach CNC programming and machine operation across a variety of materials and techniques Support apprentices in developing strong engineering foundations and practical skills Promote and enforce health, safety, and good working practices Ensure apprentices understand engineering drawings, specifications, and processes Step in to cover leadership responsibilities during the Team Leader's absence Contribute to the development of future training programmes (e.g. metrology, technical drawing interpretation)What We're Looking For Industrial experience in CNC milling and turning (essential) Experience programming and operating CNC machines and lathes NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) apprenticeship in engineering Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation Strong communication skills with a passion for ...
