OVERVIEW
Chartered Building Surveyor position within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment. Balanced workload across professional instructions and project delivery within the commercial sector. Client-facing role with responsibility for instruction delivery. Hybrid working model. Permanent appointment.
SALARY & PACKAGE
* Base salary: £42,000 – £52,000
* Car allowance: £6,500

THE ROLE
* Delivery of building surveying instructions across commercial assets
* Contract administration on refurbishment and fit-out schemes
* Project management of small to medium-scale works
* Technical due diligence for acquisitions and disposals
* Dilapidations advice for landlord and tenant clients
* Planned preventative maintenance reporting
* Party wall matters and neighbourly matters
* Reinstatement cost assessments
* Licence for alterations advisory
* Client liaison and reporting responsibility
* Management of multiple instructions with fee accountability
* Support to junior team members where required

Independent multidisciplinary property consultancy providing building surveying, cost consultancy, and project management services. Operates across a national office network serving commercial clients. Broad service line delivery across multiple sectors. Continued headcount growth driven by increased regional instruction volume.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline
* MRICS qualified
* Experience across professional and project-led instructions
* Commercial sector exposure
* Ability to manage client relationships and instruction delivery
* Strong commercial awareness in fee and risk management
