Care Assistant at HC-One, Castleford, England, United Kingdom
This role is a full-time position (38.5 hours per week) following a 3 on 3 off shift pattern. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you’ll support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents, including personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene and meals, and helping with daily activities in the home. You’ll deliver care that comes from the heart, helping residents maintain their individuality and live with dignity and purpose.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility; you will recognise signs that may indicate abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas.

Responsibilities
* Support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents
* Provide personal care (e.g., washing, dressing, hygiene) and assist with meals
* Support residents with daily activities in the home and assist those with limited mobility
* Deliver care that preserves residents’ individuality and dignity
* Recognise safeguarding concerns and know how to escalate appropriately
* Attend safeguarding training and participate in ongoing development
