About the Role: Establish high and clear expectations for students’ learning, behavior, and quality of work Maintain effective discipline by following guidelines outlined in the staff handbook and other relevant policies Collaborate closely with Learning Support Assistants assigned to teaching groups Prepare and set work for students absent due to health or disciplinary reasons Reflect on and evaluate teaching practices to enhance effectiveness Participate in assessment cycles, including gathering effort and attainment data and contributing to reports, as directed by the academy Attend designated parents’ evenings to communicate student progress and engage with families The ideal candidate will: Hold a current valid DBS certificate registered with the DBS Update Service, or be willing to obtain one Possess QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification Able to provide employment references covering the past two years Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards education Previous experience teaching at the primary school level Why Work with Supply Desk?
