Location: Stoke-on-Trent & surrounding Midlands area
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Additional: Company vehicle provided | On-call rota
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join our team, working on a mobile basis across Stoke-on-Trent and the wider Midlands region. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary, company vehicle, and a strong benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance and repair of heating and hot water systems
* General plumbing works
* Fault finding and diagnostics on mechanical plant
* Installation works and completion of relevant certification
* Basic building fabric repairs
* Ensuring plant faults and defects are promptly rectified to maintain safe operation
* Producing parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial works
* Carrying out Point of Work Risk Assessments (POWRA) prior to starting work
* Logging safety concerns using the AIMS system
* Attending breakdowns and emergencies as part of the on-call rota

About You
* Recognised industry qualification with relevant experience
* C&G Level 3 Plumbing (essential)
* Appropriate Plumbing qualifications (essential)
* Gas Safe qualifications (desirable)
* Full, clean UK driving licence
