The Opportunity:
As a Director within ISTARI's Advisory practice, you are the trusted leader responsible for the end-to-end delivery of our most important client engagements. You will act as the primary client contact, ensuring satisfaction and profitability while providing expert-level guidance to solve complex cybersecurity challenges.
This is a critical role at the heart of our client delivery mission. You will have the opportunity to lead the entire lifecycle of large, complex advisory projects, actively develop new business, and contribute directly to the growth and reputation of the ISTARI brand in the market. You will be a key part of shaping our client offerings and mentoring our team to foster a culture of high performance and delivery excellence.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
* Delivery & Leadership: Leads the entire lifecycle of advisory engagements, from planning and execution to budget and resource management. Oversees delivery of cyber programs across IT and OT environments, working with clients to navigate complex security challenges, protect their digital assets, and build robust cybersecurity strategies.
* Business Development: Plays an active role in developing detailed proposals, solutions, and contracts to expand client accounts.
* Practice & People Development: Develops new consulting assets and accelerators for the practice and actively mentors Senior Managers.
What You'll Bring (Candidate Profile)
* Experience: A seasoned professional with 15+ years in a management or technology consulting firm.
* Expertise: A recognised expert in multiple solution areas (such as Cyber Strategy, Risk Quantification, or Zero Trust) with a strong background in managing large client engagements.
* Consulting Acumen: A minimum of 8 years of direct consulting experience, with deep expertise in cybersecurity strategy design and project delivery.
* Resilience & Drive: A self-starter who thrives in an evolving start-up environment, with a high level of resilience and comfort in tackling ambiguous challenges.
* Specialised Knowledge: Demonstrable experience in two or more key areas, such as cyber crisis readiness, third-party risk management, securing critical infrastructure, cloud architecture, or cyber risk quantification.

* Helping to shape our client offerings and contributing to our thought leadership agenda.
Compensation and Benefits Structure
* Base Salary: A competitive base salary, benchmarked against industry practice in our hub locations.
* Annual Performance-Related Bonus: An on-target annual bonus as percentage of your base salary.
* Benefits: A comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including medical and dental cover, pension contributions, and life insurance.
* Flexibility: We support a hybrid working model and a willingness to travel for clients is required.
