General Manager – The New Crown Hotel
Located on the South Shields coast, the New Crown Hotel has recently received a £500k investment and is now a modern Grandstand‑format venue. We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead this high‑profile sports‑focused pub, build on its solid performance (£25k weekly, ~600 covers) and drive further growth in food, events and community engagement. The role includes management accommodation – a 3‑bed flat above the pub.

Requirements
Experience managing wet‑led, sports‑focused pubs; commercial awareness; ability to energise and develop a full team; experience running functions and events is highly advantageous. Passion for creating memorable customer experiences and a ‘lead from the front’ mentality.
