We are looking for a full-time employee, remotely based within the UK.
Responsibilities:
* Gain understanding of the current role in relation to the organization’s business and commercial objectives.
* Develop basic proficiency in the competitor environment and contribute to the commercial rationale for various competitor product and service propositions.
* Research potential leads and gather additional information on clients or partner organizations' needs.
* Identify commercial opportunities through industry readings, internet searches, analysts’ reports, etc.
* Collaborate with the Business Development team to develop, maintain, and improve outreach messaging.
* Represent MMS as a trusted partner to others.
* Develop a network of contacts in targeted, potential partner organizations.
* Identify contacts/leads matching client profiles as defined by the Line Manager or Mentor.
* Manage priorities effectively with guidance from a Line Manager.
* Organize and maintain records related to contacts, leads, meetings, follow-up tasks, and client/campaign-specific deliverables.
* Focus on generating leads across all MMS service areas and acquiring new accounts.
* Under guidance, develop, present, and implement new strategies for identifying new business opportunities; suggest creative solutions for customer engagement.
* Represent yourself and the company professionally, aligning with core company values.
* Practice excellent internal and external customer service, communication, and teamwork.
* Support departmental and organizational improvement efforts.
* Comply with all policies, procedures, and training requirements.
* Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.
Requirements:
* College graduate in Business, Communications, Scientific, or related degree program.
* 1-2 years’ experience in lead generation, business development, or similar role.
* Knowledge of scientific principles or concepts is a plus.
* Hands-on experience with clinical trials and pharmaceutical development, with knowledge of pharma industry stakeholders preferred.
* Understanding of CRO environment, data, and regulatory services preferred.
* Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate to understand needs and solve problems.
* Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
* Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11, FDA, and GCP requirements.
* Proficiency with MS Office applications.
* Experience with sales applications such as Dynamics 365 CRM, Zymewire, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales tools.
