To cover maternity leave within the business, we are looking for an In‑house Recruiter to join our friendly HR team at our York Head Office to support hiring across our retail stores. This fixed‑term, full‑time role (part‑time considered) offers a hybrid set‑up of one day per week from home with flexible start and finish times. The role is suited to candidates with a strong retail background or an experienced administrator from a customer‑facing environment, with excellent communication skills. We welcome those who enjoy spotting potential, supporting people, and helping stores succeed. You’ll play a key part in finding and bringing in great people across our stores, from Customer Advisors to Store Managers.
Responsibilities
* Speak with candidates and assess fit
* Create and tailor job adverts to attract the right people
* Support store teams with their recruitment needs
* Arrange and conduct interviews via telephone and MS Teams
* Keep candidates updated and provide timely feedback
* Create and send new starter paperwork ensuring completion prior to first day
* Conduct right‑to‑work checks on candidates
* Work closely with store managers and colleagues across the business
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
* Support recruitment for new store openings as we grow
