Juice Recruitment are currently recuriting for an established and growing organisation is currently seeking a Trainee Accountant to join its finance team. Day to day
* Assist in the production of monthly management accounts
* Support month-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
* Analyse financial data to support budget holders and business decision-making
* Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders, providing ad hoc analysis and reporting
* Assist with external reporting for government and compliance requirements
* Provide operational finance support where required, including stocktakes and reconciliations
* Support finance process improvements and system development
* Assist with Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger activities, including invoice processing and account reconciliations
* Investigate and resolve ledger discrepancies
* Support the preparation and distribution of customer and supplier price lists
* Provide cover for colleagues during periods of leave
* Act as an on-site point of contact for external IT providers and develop into a key user of finance systems
We are looking for
* Keen to study towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
* 1-2 years experience within a accounts assistant setting
* Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and manipulate data
* Previous experience using an ERP system would be advantageous
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
* A strong team player with a positive and flexible approach
