As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Nursery team in providing a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children aged 2 months - 12 years old.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is desirable.
* Qualified nursery assistant required for the Lisburn nursery. Must have NVQ3 in Child Care and Education or the willingness to complete the qualification whilst employed. *If you are working a minimum of 21 hours per week within a childcare setting, you could access this course through the Apprenticeship NI programme* You will be required to have Essential skills in English, Maths and ICT or equivalent (proof required)
The successful applicant must be enthusiastic and love working with children. Full time and part time contracts available (24, 32 and 40 hour contracts)
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Ability to multitask
* A positive and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
* Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* A willingness to learn and undertake further training as required.Please note that this position will require a background check and reference checks.
