At Mr Apple, we’re looking for a hands-on leader to join our team as a Bin Repairs Supervisor. This fixed-term role runs until the end of August 2026, with the potential to become permanent for the right person. Working day shift hours, 6 days a week, you’ll lead a small team responsible for repairing bins that are crucial for protecting fruit and preventing damage. What you'll be doing: As a Bin Repairs Supervisor, you’ll work closely with your team to keep repair workflows running smoothly. Your role is a mix of on-the-tools work and leadership, including: Inspecting bins and stillages, identifying and disposing of those not meeting standards Repairing and quality-checking bins using appropriate timber and materials Manage waste disposal and keeping your work area clean Ordering materials, audit repairs, and handle team admin like timesheets Maintaining strong health and safety practices across the team What we’re looking for: Experience in a practical, hands-on role (must be happy Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality Awesome work ethic with proven reliability A strong focus on health and safety and can lead by example Willingness to work six days a week during the season What we offer: Develop your leadership skills with the potential for ongoing employment Be part of New Zealand’s largest apple grower and exporter Competitive pay stable hours throughout the season If you’re a practical leader who loves getting stuck in, we’d love to meet you.
