Embark on an Exciting Career as a Nursery Practitioner in Sheffield

Are you a skilled and dedicated individual with a genuine interest in early childhood development? If so, we have an exceptional opportunity for you to join our client's thriving nursery in Sheffield as a full-time Nursery Practitioner. This position offers a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120, making it an excellent career move for those looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children.

Our client, a well-established and respected provider of high-quality childcare, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will have the chance to contribute to the growth and nurturing of children in a supportive and stimulating environment, helping them to develop essential skills and reach their full potential.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the children in your care. This may include leading group sessions, facilitating creative play, and ensuring a safe and secure learning environment. Your attention to detail, patience, and ability to build strong relationships with both children and their families will be crucial to your success in this role.

Candidates with a relevant childcare qualification, such as a Level 3 in Early Years Education or a similar standard, are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience in a similar setting is preferred, but we welcome applications from individuals who can demonstrate a genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their professional development.

In addition to the competitive daily rate, our client offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

* Opportunities for ongoing training and career progression
* Access to a supportive and collaborative team
* A nurturing and inclusive work environment
* Flexible working arrangements to accommodate work-life balance

This job is being advertised on Senploy - the UK's favourite education and SEND job board. If you are excited by the prospect of joining a forward-thinking organisation and making a positive difference in the lives of young children, we encourage you to submit your CV for consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

* Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and identifying any additional support needs
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organised learning environment that meets all relevant health and safety standards
* Actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development opportunities
* Adhere to the nursery's policies, procedures, and best practices in early years education
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* A relevant childcare qualification, such as a Level 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent
* Experience working in a nursery or similar early years setting, preferably with children aged 0-5 years
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* A deep understanding of child development and a commitment to providing high-quality, child-centred care
* A valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or the willingness to undergo one
* Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing needs
