The Role as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter / HGV Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well:established and respected fleet maintenance company. You'll be working on specialist assets within a professional workshop environment, with full support and training provided to help you develop your skills further.
: Carrying out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on a range of HGVs to include refuse collection vehicles for both internal and external customers
: Specialist training will be provided where needed, to develop your existing skills to support our specialist assets.
: Preparing vehicles for MOT, including inspection, rectification, and final presentation
: Attending breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and completing repairs to a high standard
: Completing all compliance documentation in line with DVSA and company standards
: Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and workmanship at all times
What we're looking for in the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter / HGV Engineer
: Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Engineer
: NVQ, City and Guilds, or equivalent HGV qualification
: Experience with repairs and wheel alignment
: Municipal or RCV/refuse vehicle experience is advantageous but not essential
: Strong understanding of the HGV industry and safety practices
: A team player who can also work confidently on their own initiative
: HGV Class 2 licence preferred
