The Warehouse Operative / Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring that our Warehouse maintains rigorous QA standards already in place. The Warehouse Operative / Driver will work under the Warehouse Team Leader in a small but busy department where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The responsibilities of the postholder will include but not be limited to the following:
* Collection and delivery of equipment to and from Customer facility
* Maintenance of Warehouse and yard housekeeping
* Booking in off-hired equipment, including checking for damaged and missing items.
* Maintenance and cleaning of all Rental transportation cases
* Operation, maintenance and servicing of all company vehicles/3T counter balance forklift
* Goods receiving – POs and customer calibrations
* Assisting with monthly stock takes
* Picking and packing of goods leaving the Warehouse
* Creating delivery notes and organizing transport for Manufacturer calibration and repair
* Keeping warehouse materials organized and neatly arrange for future picking
* Undertake any additional jobs allocated
* Comply at all times with the Company's Quality and Health & Safety at Work policies.
Experience and Qualifications
Desirable experience and qualifications are as follows:
* 3+ years experience in a warehouse role
* Experience of working in a goods in/out role
* Experience with shipping and freight requirements
* Good proficiency of the Microsoft packages
* Full UK Driving License

* Exceptional attention to detail with good analytical skills

* Ability to carry out duties in a timely and organised manner with particular attention to maintaining the high QA standards already in place.
