Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturing company based in on the outskirts of Leeds to recruit a SHEQ Senior Manager. Salary £50-65,000 p.a
The SHEQ Senior manager will be responsible for developing strategy to achieve world class standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
Duties and responsibilities of the Senior SHEQ Manager
* Develop the business strategic roadmap for SHEQ
* Lead the team of internal auditors to assess and report compliance to all operational standards
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards
* Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
* Establish and maintain the programme that provides training and support to employees on SHEQ-related topics, including risk assessments, safe work practices, and emergency response procedures
* Monitor and report on SHEQ performance metrics, and develop action plans to address areas for improvement
* Collaborate with other departments to integrate SHEQ considerations into all aspects of the business
* Stay up to date with industry best practices and regulatory changes, and ensure the company remains compliant
We would like to speak with SHEQ Managers with the following
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Professional certification in SHEQ management e.g., NEBOSH Diploma level, IOSH
* ASQ certified six sigma black belt
* Previous SHEQ experience within a manufacturing environment
* Strong knowledge of SHEQ regulations and standards (ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO 14001) including lead auditor certification
