Your Role
As an IT Operations Engineer with a focus on security, you will ensure proper IT operation so that end users can aplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritising, documenting, and actively resolving end-user help requests, which may involve visits to branch offices and sites. You will provide operational support and administration of our systems and hardware.

Being self-motivated with keen attention to detail, you should effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Exceptional customer service orientation and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment are also essential.
As an IT Operations Engineer, your main skills and experience will include a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience as a systems administrator or architect, knowledge of desktop, laptop, and server hardware, and experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V. You should have experience with backup solutions forplex multi-system platforms and vendors, and expertise in architectural design, development, migration, management, and supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, etc. In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Active Directory management and implementation, understanding and experience with M365 E5 security policies and SIEM/SOC solutions, and experience with Windows Operating Systems both client and server are required. Additionally, you should have experience with network troubleshooting and diagnostic tools, strong written and oralmunication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills, strong documentation skills, and flexibility to travel to site locations across the UK and Ireland.
