Contract Position, 3 days a week, Immediate Start
This retail consumer business has a need for a competent and experienced Commercial Lawyer to join on a short-term basis (3-6 months) to start asap.
The Position
You will have responsibility for working through a significant number of commercial contracts which need to be renegotiated and updated. These will be varied and will require strong negotiation skills, commercial awareness and the ability to deal with a variety of contracts.
The project is being offered on a part-time basis (3 days a week) and will require limited office time. However, you will deal directly with stakeholders across the business and the ability to hit the ground running on both the commercial contracts and getting to know people quickly will be key.
The position is likely best suited to a competent Commercial contracts lawyer who enjoys variety and who has experience with and a keen interest in working for a consumer brand.
About You
The position needs strong commercial awareness and experience with a variety of commercial contracts. Retail or consumer experience (supply, distribution, franchising, technology, logistics, marketing, etc) or a background in corporate and commercial lawyer is preferable.
It is essential you are a self-starter with strong relationship development skills.
