SK9 are delighted to be working alongside a highly successful UK manufacturing client based in County Fermanagh who are actively recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their busy team in a full-time permanent role.
The ideal candidate will have around 3-4 post-qualification experience and will join their team alongside the Head of Finance, so a fantastic learning curve is on offer.
This role involves working closely with financial performance and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, which aligns with your expertise. In this interesting and challenging role, you will be assisting in the preparation of monthly / quarterly management accounts and related reports for a number of UK entities, assisting in the budgeting process, audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. The role will involve working with other departments, in multiple locations, including the sales, operations and manufacturing teams.
Some of your responsibilities will include
* preparing financial statements that reflect company's financial position, including the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement
* keeping track of a company's financial transactions, including sales and expenses, to ensure they're accurate
* developing and managing budgets
* performing audits to ensure that financial records are accurate and comply with applicable regulations
* analysing financial data using financial ratios, trend analysis and other techniques to identify areas for improvement
* preparing and filing tax returns
