Job Title: PE Teacher Location: Wolverhampton Pay Rate: £140.23 - £190.53 Hours: Full-time Smart Education is currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated QTS PE Teacher to join a Special School in Wolverhampton. This is a full-time position working with pupils who have a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The role is to start as soon as possible and will run until at least Christmas, with the potential to continue further. About the Role As a PE Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, inclusive Physical Education lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils aged 11–19. You will encourage participation, teamwork, and confidence while promoting physical and emotional wellbeing. Lessons will need to be adapted to ensure accessibility for all students. You will work with pupils with a variety of needs, including: SpLD – Specific Learning Difficulty VI – Visual Impairment OTH – Other Difficulty/Disability HI – Hearing Impairment SLCN – Speech, Language and Communication Needs ASD – Autism Spectrum Disorder SEMH – Social, Emotional and Mental Health PD – Physical Disability MLD – Moderate Learning Difficulty SLD – Severe Learning Difficulty PMLD – Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty You’ll work alongside support staff to ensure lessons are accessible, enjoyable, and safe, and that each student is encouraged to reach their full potential.
