My client, a high-end residential property developer based in South West London, is currently seeking a Site Manager/Principal Contractor representative to join their team. The role involves contributing to building improvement schemes with a focus on enhancing the building envelope and potentially upgrading mechanical plant systems. Familiarity with these building components will be beneficial for this role.
Supported by our HSEQ team, Contracts Managers, and site operatives, you will be the primary on-site authority for health and safety matters and Principal Contractor duties in accordance with CDM regulations. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating and overseeing construction activities on-site from start to finish. The position is available immediately.
As a Site Manager/Principal Contractor's representative, your key duties will involve:
1. Managing day-to-day site logistics and coordinating trades.
2. Developing and implementing safety documentation, issuing permits, information/hazard boards, and monitoring risk assessments/method statements.
3. Supervising the performance of site operatives and subcontractors concerning health, safety, and environmental standards.
4. Identifying training needs for site personnel.
5. Ensuring full compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
