We are recruiting for a Fostering Engagement Social Worker to be part of our existing services based in Chesterfield and Bromsgrove. We are actively looking to recruit new Foster Carers in Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Birmingham and Wolverhampton to grow our Fostering Service and develop a recruitment plan to expand our national footprint.
You will be required to plan and deliver recruitment events to expand our Foster Carer Family and capacity to provide high‑quality foster placements for children. This is a forward‑facing role working in communities, seeking opportunities to engage with prospective candidates who may wish to become approved Foster Carers. You will have experience working within the Fostering Sector, either with an IFA or in the Local Authority. You will need the skills and knowledge to complete initial home visits through to Form F assessment and presentation at an independent panel.
You will work with and be supervised by the National Carer Recruitment Manager, and the local foster service manager will also support you in meeting our aspirations to grow our service.
Hours
The role is 37.5 hours per week; you must be flexible to support our families and recruitment events across the service area, including evenings and weekends.
