Salary: DOE plus overtime, on-call and benefits

Within the Waste & Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, there are Willow Pumps and Filta – businesses focused on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions. Together, the brands provide a complete one‑stop shop for keeping water and waste flowing.
This is a varied, hands‑on role for someone who thrives in both reactive drainage work and planned civil projects. If you enjoy problem‑solving on‑site and want to be part of a supportive, fast‑paced business, we want to hear from you.
What does it entail?
* Responding to reactive drainage issues (blockages, backups, faults)
* High‑pressure water jetting and drain clearance
* CCTV surveys and fault diagnosis
* Carrying out repairs, excavations, and small civil works
* Installing and replacing drainage systems
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
* Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
* Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and applications
* Communicating effectively with high‑profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
What experience do we look for?
* Proven experience in reactive drainage and civil/drainage repairs
* Strong knowledge of drainage systems and fault finding
* Experience with excavation and reinstatement works
* Confident working independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Streetworks (NRSWA) and/or confined space training (desirable)
* Must live in the Carlisle area
