Deputy Director
Location: Split between Chester & Preston
Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 per year (dependent on experience)

This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished senior leader to step into a pivotal Deputy Director role, taking strategic and operational responsibility for a diverse portfolio of CQC and Ofsted-regulated services.
As Deputy Director, you will play a central role in shaping the future of our services, ensuring they not only meet but exceed the highest standards of quality, compliance, and innovation. Working alongside the Director and senior leadership team, you will provide the strategic drive and operational oversight that ensures every service delivers safe, nurturing, and life-changing care for children, young people, and adults with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, and mental health needs.
The Role
* Provide executive leadership across multiple regulated services, ensuring operational excellence, quality assurance, and compliance.
* Act as Nominated Individual (CQC) and Responsible Individual (Ofsted), maintaining full accountability for regulatory standards.
* Lead the registration, development, and launch of new services in line with organisational growth and commissioning priorities.
* Embed robust governance and auditing frameworks to drive continuous improvement and sector-leading practice.
* Inspire, mentor, and empower Registered Managers and operational leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
* Build strong partnerships with commissioners, regulators, and external stakeholders to deliver outstanding outcomes and sustainable growth.
What You'll Bring
* In-depth knowledge of CQC and Ofsted regulatory frameworks.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or equivalent).
* Proven track record as a Nominated Individual / Responsible Individual.
* Experience managing both children's and adults' regulated services.
* Strong expertise in quality assurance, audit management, and service improvement.
* A professional, resilient, and collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence at executive level.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
