TEXO Recruitment are currently sourcing for multiple CNC roles on behalf our external client located in Dundee on a 3 month contract basis.CNC SetterResponsibilities:Set up and operate state-of-the-art Matsuura CNC Milling Machines (3, 4, and 5 axis)Work with a variety of metals to precise specificationsInterpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerancesEnsure quality control and machine maintenanceCollaborate with team members to meet production targetsRequirements:Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC milling and settingProven experience with Fanuc controlsWillingness to be trained on Matsuura CNC machinesSolid understanding of 3-axis CNC milling (essential)Experience operating 4 and 5-axis machines (preferred)Setter/Operator experience is requiredMust live within commuting distance of Cupar Muir, FifeCNC TurnerResponsibilities:Set up, programme, and operate CNC turning machines to produce small precision parts.Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling.Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed.Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.Perform routine machine maintenance.Maintain a clean and organised workspace.Requirements:Precision CNC Turning – Programmer, Setter, OperatorExperienced CNC Turners required with full expertise in CNC Turning Machining Centres, particularly NLX 2500-700 and NLX 2000-500.Proven ability to produce small precision parts with tolerances up to 0.005mm.CNC MillerResponsibilities:Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct functionPrepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machinesPrepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specificationsSet machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of partsSupervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better resultInspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properlyCheck and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionalityRequirements:Proven experience in operating CNC Milling Machines (3 – 5 axis).Strong understanding of adjusting offsets.Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings.At least 1 year of CNC Machine Operating experience required.GCSE or equivalent (preferred).If any of the roles above are of interest to you, please contact Kenna Kirkwood at TEXO Recruitment on 01224 446789
