Our client is a long-established independent company with over 69 years' experience in design, supply and installation of an extensive range of electrical and mechanical services for the industrial, educational and commercial sectors.
We are looking for an approachable and enthusiastic candidate to work alongside the project delivery team to offer administrative support to the team. The role will require the successful candidate to support the Managing Director, Contracts Manager’s, estimating team in undertaking various support duties.
Responsibilities will include:
* O&M manuals – working alongside the Contract’s Manager’s to build the operating manuals for projects we deliver, preparing these to be sent out to the client.
* Training – be responsible for the training matrix of all staff keeping this updated on a week-by-week basis, liaising with the wider team to build the ongoing training requirements for all team members
* Stationery and Uniform – undertake ordering uniform for the project team as and when required
* Constructionline and CHAS management – work alongside the Managing Director to undertake the upkeep of these accreditations
* Clean Desk Policy Management – help promote a clean desk policy
* Raising and managing purchase orders – manage the delivering of goods, making sure items have been delivered and chasing suppliers
* Manage Holidays –collate all holiday requests and liaise with the relevant manager to then authorise and come up with a way of then giving visibility to everyone on a central calendar
* QQ’s – manage these and create a central folder as to where these things are stored
* Sub-contractor – managing the administration element of the supply chain
* Printing all tender documents – 1 day a week
* Downloading, saving and setting up a quote folders – 6 hours a week AA
* Putting projects onto the tracker – 2 hours a week
* Sending out sub-contract packages – 5 hours a week -AA
Qualifications & Education Requirements Min of 5 GCSE’s grade A*-C incl. Math’s and English (or equivalent). A Driving License is essential for this role. Must have a clear DBS check and security history. Fire industry-related level 3 training Manufacturer-related training

Monday to Friday - 9:00am - 5:00 pm, 40 hours per week
