Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Work Pattern: This role requires flexibility to meet operational needs, will include some weekend/evening on call working. With the requirement to undertake regular spot checks, including evenings and weekends.
On-Call Duty requirement: The on-call rota operates on a 1 in 3 week basis, to be discussed at interview.
Salary: £38,223 per annum, rising to £40,540 after 6 months
Location: Holly Tree House - Norwich NR5. Due to the nature of the role a driver licence with business insurance and access to a vehicle is essential for this role, mileage is paid at 45p per mile for cars after your home to work base mileage is deducted.
The Role
The Short Stay Recovery House Service Manager will be responsible for managing a 24 hour crisis intervention service supporting people psychiatrically and/or psychosocially in crisis who do not require hospital admission. Working at crisis level, the post holder will lead and support the team to deliver short term, intensive, recovery focused interventions that reduce the distress and impact of crisis.
As the primary liaison with the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHT), the manager will receive, review and respond to referrals within agreed timeframes. They will complete initial risk screening, assess suitability for a non-clinical environment, and make safe, defensible decisions regarding admissions.
The post holder will maintain accurate KPI data, monitor performance against contractual requirements, and ensure the service meets targets safely and sustainably. They will use data to inform service improvement, elevate concerns, and work with the Head of Service to address issues and drive continuous improvement.
