Income Officer
for our client located in Rugby.
The client will require the post holder to work 4 days a week in the office and remaining day from home.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Manage rent accounts within an assigned area, ensuring consistent and professional communication with tenants.
Conduct outreach to discuss rent payments, arrears, and arrange manageable payment plans.
Provide support to tenants facing financial challenges, connecting them with relevant welfare and support services as needed.
Collaborate with tenancy support and welfare teams to sustain tenancies and reduce arrears.
Prepare reports and maintain accurate records to support the council's income collection goals.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience in income collection, housing management, or a related field.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
Experience working with vulnerable individuals and providing support in challenging situations.
