Addiction Therapist – Residential Rehabilitation Service

£30,000 per annum DOE
Full-time, permanent
Compass Associates are proud to be working with a respected national provider of addiction treatment and recovery services. We are currently looking for an Addiction Therapist to join a well-established residential rehabilitation service in Bradford. This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a dedicated team, providing both group and one-to-one therapeutic support and providing the best possible care and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver structured 1:1 therapy sessions and group interventions to adults in residential rehab
* Support clients with drug and alcohol dependency, trauma, and co-occurring mental health needs
* Facilitate evidence-based interventions including CBT, relapse prevention, and motivational approaches
* Contribute to holistic recovery planning, including aftercare and discharge support
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, doctors, and support staff
* Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to care planning and risk management
Skills & Experience
* Level 4 qualification in Counselling or equivalent.
* Professional membership with BACP or NCPS.
* Experience working specifically in addiction services is desirable; however, candidates with strong experience in mental health and trauma will also be considered.
* Minimum of one year’s experience working directly with clients and facilitating one-to-one and group therapy.
* Excellent communication skills and a flexible, client-centred approach.
* Strong organisational and administration skills.
