Food and Beverage Team Leader (01260-1025)
Warwick Conferences offers a range of world‑class meeting and conferences facilities located on the University of Warwick campus. This role is based at Warwick, UK.
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated individual to join as a Team Leader ensuring our food and beverage service meets the highest standards and complies with all food safety regulations.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage food & beverage service across the Warwick Conferences portfolio.
* Lead the team on shift, ensuring areas are ready and set in accordance with booking system details.
* Conduct pre‑service briefing and check all service checklists are completed.
* Address team issues or concerns, escalating to the line manager as required.
* Support the wider business in maximising income and profitability.
* Maintain health and safety standards, particularly food safety and allergen protocols.
* Assist with shift scheduling and the supervision of both contracted and un‑itemps Food & Beverage Assistants.
* Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing advice, assistance and resolving queries professionally and in a timely manner.
Work Hours
Up to 36.5 hours per week, with any 5 days in a 7‑day period. Shifts range from 7 am to midnight, including weekends.
