3. Assisting with the preparation of financial statements
4. Maintaining the accuracy of financial records
5. Collaborating with team members on budget forecasts
6. Managing daily transactions and updating ledgers
7. Ensuring all financial operations comply with regulatory standards
8. Supporting the Accounting & Finance team in auditing procedures
9. Handling communications with clients and vendors
10. Assisting with tax preparation and returns
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
12. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software
13. An understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
14. Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
15. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
16. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
17. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
18. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure
