Required criteria:
* A minimum of 1 years experience in welding or fabrication.
* Have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in measurements and profiling.
About the role:
Responsibilities
* Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.
* Clean and prepare parts before welding.
* Operating a MIG welder to tack and weld components.
* Visually inspecting all welds and when they have been completed and having the ability to recognise any faults.
* Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use.
* Safe and controlled movements of production parts and meeting set targets whilst working on the production line.
* Operating lifting equipment such as a jib or overhead crane.
* Use of equipment such as an angle grinder.
* Inspect fabricated components for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
* To meet agreed production targets according to customer demands.
* To carry out the agreed preventative maintenance schedule.
* Monitor equipment and request maintenance when required.
