Job Overview
Fortune is seeking an experienced editorial content creator and event moderator to join our growing content and community team. Reporting to the Executive Editorial Director, Europe, this role will support our rapid growth in text, audio and video content as well as help develop our expanding C-suite community and moderate public and private events.
Based in London, the successful candidate will lead on-the-ground execution of Fortune’s European content, community and event initiatives—designing, producing, and moderating private and public roundtable discussions with CEOs, senior executives and Fortune partners.
Deep experience in C-suite level content creation, peer-to-peer event moderation and execution is highly desirable.
Working with the Executive Editorial Director, you will ensure that every piece of content, event and editorial interaction reflects Fortune’s voice, strengthens relationships with business leaders, and translates into measurable editorial and community impact.

Key Responsibilities
Community Leadership & Relationship Development
* Support the expansion of our European C-suite and NGO communities representing a range of industries and sectors.
* Maintain ongoing engagement through content creation and direct community interactions.
* Leverage your network of contacts to support community growth and event execution
* Represent Fortune as a trusted editor and convener in senior-level discussions, reinforcing editorial credibility and the value of participation.
Success Indicators:
Deepened relationships, consistent participation from key leaders, and visible engagement across the European community.
Convening & Editorial Strategy
* Partner with the Executive Editorial Director to design, plan, and execute events, whether public, Chatham House Rule or off-the-record. Events should focus on peer-to-peer problem-solving and strategic dialogue.
* Serve as lead moderator for select events, facilitating dynamic, unscripted conversations that surface meaningful insights for both participants and editorial follow-up.
* Oversee operational elements - from concept development, participant recruitment and speaker briefing to post-event debriefs and insight tracking - ensuring consistency and excellence.
* Identify and shape emerging themes that can inform Fortune’s broader editorial and events strategy.
Success Indicators:
Delivery of events, positive participant feedback, and clear integration of community insights into editorial coverage.
Coverage & Insights
* Collaborate with editorial teams across Fortune’s global business to translate key insights from European events into written, audio and video storytelling.
* Contribute to post-event analysis, briefing notes, and thematic summaries that inform future programming.
* Highlight recurring trends and executive priorities within the community to guide Fortune’s editorial strategy.
Success Indicators:
Editorial output that reflects European business insights and strengthens Fortune’s authority among global executives.
Operational Strategy & Cross-Team Collaboration
* Translate editorial and community goals into actionable plans, with clear milestones, deliverables, and accountability.
* Partner with live media, membership, and sales teams to align event programming with commercial and brand objectives.
* Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to maintain up-to-date records of community engagement and relationship development.
Success Indicators:
Efficient delivery, strong coordination across teams, and tangible growth in community and commercial outcomes.
Client Engagement Support
* Support Fortune’s divisions across the business by articulating Fortune’s editorial mission in meetings with C-suite prospects and partners.
* Frame editorial opportunities in ways that enhance relationships and unlock business development potential, while maintaining editorial integrity.
* Participate in key client meetings, offering editorial perspective and insight into business-relevant themes.
Success Indicators:
Strong alignment between editorial and client engagement, and visible enhancement of Fortune’s value proposition both editorially and commercially.
Your Experience & Attributes
* 8+ years in senior editorial or convening roles—ideally in business journalism, live media, or strategic storytelling.
* Proven experience moderating C-suite roundtables and peer-to-peer events.
* Deep familiarity with the European business landscape and its leadership community.
* Operationally skilled with a strong record of delivering high-impact events and programs from concept to execution.
* Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
* Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
