Responsibilities
* Provide specialist clinical knowledge and expertise for the eating disorders team.
* Contribute toward the development and clinical practice of the highly specialist team.
* Work with the operational lead, lead psychologist, psychiatrists and service manager to employ, train, develop and support service staff.
* Provide consultation on eating disorders inside and outside of the organisation.
The post holder will be required to provide highly specialist assessment and intervention (individual and group), in accordance with the evidence base; to provide clinical supervision for team members; to provide consultation to colleagues in the Trust; to undertake research, and to participate in personal CPD and the provision of training to the eating disorders team and to the wider service. The role also involves supervision, management and support of less qualified team members and trainees, service audit/evaluation, case management and care coordination of the post holder’s own clinical caseload.
