Overview
Business Services Team Leader role covering either Leeds and Manchester. We trust and empower colleagues to work in a hybrid way, providing the resources, equipment, and support, so that individually and collectively we can be the voice of children and young people when the family court makes critical decisions about their futures. The role is part of a team based from offices in Leeds or Manchester; proximity to the office isn’t always a critical factor, but regular attendance across the offices will be required. Role focus As the Business Services Team Leader, you will contribute to the effective and efficient management and progression of cases, taking the leading role within your team for the provision of administrative support to the local Family Court Advisors and Service Managers.
* monitoring case progression
* receiving referrals from the Court or Cafcass Intake Team
* create / update / close cases within our case management system
* sending letters and information packs to service users
* identify any missing information and follow-up as required
* receive and deal with telephone enquiries
* meet and greet visitors, including service users
* general admin support
* Complete office-based health and safety checks including first aid and fire marshal duties (training will be provided)
What we’re looking for
* A relevant qualification in business administration (e.g. NVQ2), a willingness to work towards a qualification and/or significant experience in a similar role
* Confident and capable of using MS Office applications to a basic / intermediate level
* Clear, confident communicator via email, phone and in person
* Someone who thrives working in a team
* Able to prioritise work in a fast-moving environment with strict deadlines
