Overview
Nottingham CityCare are excited to announce that we seek to employ a manager to guide and oversee the administrative staff which support the 0-19 Children and Families specialism.
This is a brand new role, which is anticipated to provide our colleagues with the compassionate leadership they deserve, from an expert within their field. This role forms part of our ambitions to further improve the efficiency, effectiveness and responsiveness of the care we offer to babies, children, young people and families.
We are seeking to re-model and the successful candidate will be a key partner in how we deliver our ambitions operationally.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead and manage the admin and clerical staff who are assigned to the 0-19 Children and Families service, providing supervision, one to ones, appraisals, training and induction.
There is the requirement for the post holder to be confident in their abilities to line manage staff, with an approach which is conducive to co-production. There will need to be evident skill and experience in the use of associated policies and procedures, with further evidence of how CityCare values will influence the desired approach.
They will be instrumental in developing the team and taking a lead role in our ambitions for a single point of access. This will require the postholder to have skills in priority setting and maintaining associated trajectories. We are looking for someone who has worked creatively to improve service delivery and how they have used their skill in audit and data collection to evidence improvement.
Further duties are in relation to streamlining of processes and robust oversight of universal processes, to further support efficient and effective workflow.
The successful candidate will need to be able to flex communication style to support effective timely responses to allied professionals across the health and care sectors, and more importantly, our families and young people who access our care.
