PH Water & Air Technologies is recruiting a Lead Small Works Engineer within their Water Hygiene/Water Treatment Division. You’ll need to be fully conversant with HSG274/ACOP L8 guidelines and your experience working within the Water Hygiene/Water Treatment sector will be fully utilised. You’ll work closely with colleagues on various sites in and around London, so if you reside no more than a two-hour commute into London, this would be ideal.
Base Pay Range
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, 25 days holiday per year, plus Bank Holidays, company vehicle, a financial loyalty bonus and other benefits we’d be happy to tell you about. There’s also overtime available, up to £12,000 per annum.
Responsibilities
* Conduct visual inspections of water systems, including water sampling and analysis of closed systems using a site test kit.
* Inspect and service thermostatic mixer valves (TMVs).
* Carry out chemical dosing of water systems.
* Perform cleaning and disinfection of pipework systems, cold‑water storage tanks, and cooling towers in accordance with BS 8558:2011.
Qualifications
* Demonstrates mechanical aptitude, technical ability, and some plumbing experience.
* Positive attitude, enthusiasm for the company and role, and ability to work unsupervised while overcoming challenges.
* Confidently discusses technical issues and accurately records detailed engineer’s reports and logbooks.
* Capable of physical work (lifting, carrying, climbing) and holds a full UK driving licence.
