Radis Community Care has an opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our services in Bristol, North Somerset, South Wales, and Devon.
This is a hybrid role requiring regular travel to the supported services and some home working. You will have access to a desk and office facilities at one of our local services.
About the role
As the HR Business Partner, you will work closely with other members of our HR team on daily HR issues and projects. Key responsibilities include:
1. Being the main point of contact via phone and email for HR advice to managers and colleagues, referencing policies, procedures, and employment law.
2. Managing Employee Relations cases proactively, providing advice, guidance, and coaching to managers.
3. Issuing staff contracts and ensuring compliance with company processes, from pre-employment checks to employee lifecycle management.
4. Collaborating on TUPE transfers and ensuring employee data is accurately recorded.
5. Processing changes to terms and conditions, notifying employees and relevant departments, and updating records.
6. Supporting the implementation of the new HR and payroll system.
Skills and qualifications
We seek a self-motivated, conscientious, and proactive individual with integrity. The ideal candidate will have:
* At least 2 years of experience working in a busy HR department in a similar role.
* A minimum of CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
* An understanding of HR processes and current UK employment law.
* Experience in providing HR advice within the care sector is desirable but not essential.
Applicants must have a car for business use and be willing to stay overnight occasionally.
