Care Worker – Anglicare Sydney
We are looking for a Home Care Worker to provide compassionate support to clients in their Hawkesbury area homes on a Permanent Part Time basis. Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks, offering emotional support, domestic assistance, meal preparation, personal care, social engagement, and transport services.
Key Responsibilities
* Domestic Assistance – supporting with household chores such as washing, ironing, vacuuming, dusting.
* Meal Preparation – planning, preparing, and cooking meals.
* Personal Care Support – assisting with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.
* Social Engagement – providing companionship and encouraging participation in social activities and community engagement.
* Transport Services – offering transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.

Essential Qualifications
* Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
* Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations
* Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended)
* Basic computer and smartphone literacy
Desirable Qualifications
* Previous experience in Home Care or Disability Support
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community)
