OCU Group has an exciting new opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented Implementation Engineer to join our Implementation Team in Preston.
You will play a pivotal role in the rollout of OCU One, our bespoke in-house developed Workforce Management platform. This platform is critical to streamlining the planning, scheduling, and management of our workforce across the Energy Transition, Utilities, and Digital Infrastructure divisions nationally.
About the role
In this role, you’ll operate at the intersection of technology, operations, and transformation, ensuring new features, capabilities, and processes are implemented smoothly, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to business-as-usual activities. You’ll collaborate closely with operational leaders, technical analysts, developers, and the technology team to configure, test, and deploy platform solutions tailored to our project needs.

Key Skills & Experience
* Experience in implementation or systems delivery roles, preferably in mid-to-large organisations.
* Proven experience delivering digital or software solutions into operational environments.
* Ability to support constructive challenge and manage change resistance.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex processes and translate them into system logic.
* Solid understanding of testing and quality assurance practices.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence in collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving project environments.
* Experience with in-house developed or bespoke enterprise software platforms.
* Knowledge of integration practices across ERP, CRM, or HRIS systems.
* Experience supporting change management or training delivery within technology projects.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working within cross-functional product teams.
