1. Weare looking for a 34years experience Desktop Support Engineer toprovide technical assistance to remotely. Hands on experience introubleshoot Desktop/ Laptop OS (Mac) and office and otherapplication software.
* Installation andconfigure Windows &MAC Workstations
* Knowledge of Different versions of Windows & Mac OSX
* Install and configure Office applicationwith other Line of Business Applications on Windows &MAC
* Handson experience with MAC OS andKnowledge in Windows 10/11 OS environments is addedadvantage
* Knowledge on File vault Encryption /Decryption
* Diagnoses and resolving softwareand hardware incidents including operating systems (MAC) and acrossa range of application software on the client machine (Officeapplications Outlook Teams OneDrive etc.)
* Mobile device management configure outlook teamsMicrosoft Authenticator etc. ( iPhone iPad Android Surfaceetc.)
* Basic knowledge on Office365 servicesActive Directory and user login methods
* Knowledge on JAMF application push and deployment forworkstations
* Walking customers throughinstalling applications and computer peripherals
* Guide users with simple stepbystepinstructions
* Conduct remotetroubleshooting
* OS and Application supportticket handling on INC SR
* Good to haveticketing tool knowledge SNOW JIRA etc.
* Testalternative pathways until you resolve an issue
* Customize desktop applications to meet userneeds
* Record technical issues and solutions inlogs
* Help create technical documentation andmanuals
* Proven work experience as a DesktopSupport Engineer Technical Support Engineer or similarrole
* Knowledge on Office application likeWord/Excel/ PowerPoint/ outlook / Teams
* Working knowledge of office automation products andcomputer peripherals like printers and scanners
* Provide technical assistance and support issues relateddesktop support Teams Conferencing support
* VIPuser coordination and support
* Professionalismwhen resolving service delivery and client issues in a timelymanner
* Identifying and escalating business andtechnical challenges as appropriate and in a timelymanner
* Communicating with other engineersclients and managers in a professional manner as situations ariseand at regular intervals ensuring that all parties involved arekept up to date at all time.
2. Other Rolesand responsibilities during Migration
* Coordinate with Migration Onsite team andscheduling team
* Helping technical team tosolve technical roadblocks by regular case reviews and resulting inincreased productivity of the team
* Ensure allscheduled migrations are completed without any businessimpact
