Project Manager £62.78 - £84.82 per hour Morson are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to support the Production Enablement Team within the production of military aircraft. The team are currently focussed on bids for obsolescence contracts for aircraft equipment alongside Engineering, Procurement and Commercial. Therefore a strong Project Manager with a background in either Aerospace production procedures or bid management would be an ideal fit for this role. This is a 6-month contract role, with some possibility of extension or work on other projects. It will require a minimum of 3 days a week on site in Warton, and is paying a rate of either £62.78 per hour PAYE or £84.82 per hour Umbrella. Responsibilities Support the Bid Lead to take obsolescence bids from launch to LCM phase 2B. Develop bid plans and create stakeholder buy-in. Manage regular bid sessions to drive the bid programme. Support monthly updates to the appropriate and respond to customer queries when they arise. Monitor budget and spend for the obsolescence bids funding. Prepare contract documents. Involvement in hand over of bids to the contract delivery team once contract award is achieved. Requirements Project Management Experience in an engineering environment similar to Aerospace production. Understanding of bid process and governance requirements. Competent in use of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Good communication skills across multiple stakeholders. Ability to run meetings on behalf of Bid Project Manager. Able to produce and manage bid plans in an appropriate planning toolset. Reporting skills for project status into monthly Bid Status Review and Delivery Director level. Experience of planning lifecycle management reviews up to bid delivery Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance
