Lady Lumley's Academy are looking to appoint a Teacher of Maths to join our academy as soon as possible, on a full time permanent basis.
Qualifications
* A good degree in an appropriate discipline related to Maths and teaching qualification together with Qualified Teacher Status
* A strong and secure subject knowledge in Maths up to GCSE
* Recent and relevant teaching experience and experience of assessment at key stage 3 and 4
* Awareness of the strategies available for improving the learning and achievement of all students and a good understanding of curriculum developments in Maths
* Able to use a range of teaching and learning strategies and an understanding of how assessment for learning can improve student performance
* Able to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a team and willingness to share good practice across the department and beyond
