We are the South Cambridge Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT), providing care for service users experiencing an acute mental health crisis, supporting them to stay in their own homes rather than being admitted to hospital. We are based in Cambridge, Essex, and Hertfordshire.
We are looking for Senior Mental Health Practitioners to join our team. Whether you are a Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker, we have an opportunity for you. We operate as a true multidisciplinary team, where no profession’s voice is louder than another.
These roles offer excellent learning and development opportunities. You will gain experience working with service users with a wide range of presentations and diagnoses. Additionally, you will develop skills in risk assessment, crisis management, assessment, and delivering brief psychological interventions.
You will have the chance to work with a diverse group of clinicians who will support your professional growth. We have previously supported staff in obtaining non-medical prescribing training, AMHP training, and psychological therapies training.
Main duties of the job
* Working within our multidisciplinary team to provide dynamic, solution-focused care.
* Collaborating with service users experiencing acute episodes of mental illness to develop personalized support plans.
* Visiting service users in their homes to conduct assessments.
* Planning and delivering interventions in collaboration with the MDT.
* Managing inpatient beds to support bed flow, requiring problem-solving and decision-making skills.
