Kitchen Sales Designer
As a Kitchen Sales Designer, you will support our Trade customers by turning their clients' dream kitchens into reality. You will meet end users in their homes, listen to their vision, understand their needs, and offer expert advice. You will plan and design inspirational kitchens that exceed expectations for both design and utility, negotiate with trade customers, and protect the integrity, value and quality of our products.
The role requires a passion for customer experience delivery, strong design sense, organisational skills and a drive to achieve results.
Key responsibilities:
* Engage with trade customers and end users to understand design requirements.
* Provide tailored kitchen solutions and recommend products.
* Negotiation and sales support while maintaining product quality and value.
* Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and compliance standards.
* Collaborate with colleagues to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
Required skills and attributes:
* Customer service experience
* Thrives in fast‑paced environments
* An eye for design
* Previous sales experience
* Prioritisation and organisational skills
* Curious learner
* Results driven
* Full UK driving licence
* Access to own vehicle
* Previous design (CAD) experience is preferred but not essential
Training and development will be provided through Howdens Academy, covering kitchen measuring & compliance, inspirational design, technical product knowledge and sales skills. No prior experience as a Kitchen Sales Designer is required.
